Razionale During the last 18 years the interest for Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) has been gradually increasing, especially in the pediatric field. Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension has been recently enlisted within rare diseases. The fatal outcome of this disease, especially in the idiopathic form, makes Pulmonary Hypertension the second indication for lung transplantation worldwide. Only few descriptions and studies are available on the several and different expressions of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension in pediatric age: guidelines are still missing, making clinical practice very hard for physicians. The purpose of this meeting is that of sharing our experiences, developing knowledge on etiology and diagnosis, and pursuing a homogeneous, but tailor-made treatment, especially in pediatric age. This meeting will bring together the main European experts in Pulmonary Hypertension, with the aim of comparing and enlarging the Italian and European pediatric practice.
